Global City Mission Initiative is dedicated to cross-cultural evangelism, disciple-making, and church planting among diverse immigrant populations in strategic cities around the world. We are reaching out evangelistically to start and multiply churches, to train believers to disciple their international neighbors, and to coach churches to better cross cultural barriers in ministering to their communities. We are striving to form disciples who can form discipleship communities anywhere they go.

Why Global Cities
In our world today, more than half of the planet’s population has migrated to or near cities. By 2050, two-thirds of the population will live in metropolitan areas. Our world has become a network of connected urban centers– a web of cities setting the course of human history. Due to the emergence of this global society, being on mission with God now means Christians living anywhere, particularly those living in global cities, have the oppurtunity to work as missionaries without ever leaving their own neighborhood. GCMI is working to reach across cultures and equip Christians and churches to better engage this new avenue for joining in God's mission.
