Many believers want to share their faith, disciple others, and help reach their city—but they often feel isolated, unsure where to begin, or disconnected from others pursuing the same mission. 

Imagine having a community where you could learn practical mission principles, encourage one another, and grow alongside people who are living on mission every day.

That’s why The Global City Mission Coalition exists—a growing community of disciples, church leaders, missionaries, and everyday believers learning how to make disciples together in today’s global cities.

Global City has spent years walking alongside missionaries, church leaders, and disciple-makers in global cities. Along the way we’ve learned something: none of us can keep up with the changing mission field alone. We need one another.

Global City is inviting you to help launch the coalition

As the world continues to change rapidly, we see the need for a broad coalition of disciples living the mission wherever they are, and in whatever capacity.

We continue to pray for genuine movement amongst people who don’t yet know Jesus, both here in North America, and around the world.

This is an invitation to help build a larger community – together. The Global City Mission Coalition is a community of disciples who are applying mission principles & practices in emerging contexts. 

And the Hub is a digital gathering space — for disciples who want to take action – to connect, to learn, and to grow together. Wherever you are in the journey, there’s a place for you here.

THE HUB IS A PLACE TO SHARE THE JOURNEY:

FAQ: 

1. What is the coalition? It is a community of disciples who are learning to live on mission together, applying mission principles & practices in emerging contexts. 
2. Why is Global City starting this? To see a movement in today’s global world, we know we cannot do it alone. It’s bigger than Global City or your local church. The Kingdom and the need are bigger than any one of us. The Global City Mission Coalition is our attempt to bring together a community of disciples, church leaders, missionaries, and everyday believers to make an impact.
3. Why the coalition hub? The hub is a digital meeting place. It provides a space for connection. The hub will host training content and opportunities to dialog and to share together. It’s a co-learning community, where we can share our different outreach experiences, learning and growing together. 
4. How Much? Joining the coalition is $5 per month. The real cost, though, is a commitment to being involved and learning together.
5. Why $5 Ultimately, we know people need skin in the game. We don’t want to build a list of people interested in coalition, we want to build a platform of people participating in the mission and participating on the hub. 
6. What’s in the coalition hub? Lots of things! Discipleship trainings, conversations around strategies and challenges, opportunities to share stories, and live calls for prayer, additional training, and fellowship. This will be both a resource library and a literal hub of connection to other coalition members on mission with you.
7. What happens if I sign up for early access? As a founding member, you are a key part of building the coalition hub! You will be among the first to receive an invitation once the hub is live. 
8.  Who should sign up for the coalition hub? Anyone who wants to make an impact for the gospel, or already is.
9. How can my church get involved? Start by YOU signing up for the coalition. Whether you are a key leader in your church or “just a volunteer”, God can begin with you taking a step. Invite a friend into the journey with you. We’d love for them to join the coalition as well, but even if you are just sharing your journey with them and teaching them what you are learning, multiplication often begins with 2. And we’d love to talk more about how we can strategically help your church reach their community.
10. What if I want to be a missionary? The Coalition is (will be) made up of full-time, part-time, and BIVO/COVO missionaries as well as aspiring missionaries, church leaders, and everyday believers. We can help you find your unique role as a missionary, in whatever capacity God is calling you to, whether with Global City or with another agency. The principles and trainings you will find here will help you wherever you go.
11. What if I’m already with a missions agency? Global City Mission and The Global City Mission Coalition are not exclusive clubs. We want to learn and grow from each other, united in missions principles and practice. Our hope is to build something that is a place of community and shared learning, regardless of organizational commitments.
