When you participate in the Disciple Maker Launchpad, you will have access to practical training on healthy conversational evangelism, on starting a discovery group, and applying a reproduction mindset as you begin. The best way to learn is by doing, so we’ve broken things down into easy, reproduceable steps to get you going from day 1. But we know, even the most driven people can get stuck without a guide, so we’ve built in both the ability to ask questions and to debrief with members of our along the way. The Disciple-Maker Launchpad is a jumpstart to growing both your confidence and your effectiveness at living out the good news with others in your everyday life.

One of the things we felt strongly about as we evaluated the last several years of Disciple-making training that we’ve offered at Global City Mission is that the resources we have need to be more accessible. We’ve seen lots of progress and new mobilization coming out of the work we’ve done, but it is limited to availability at a certain time or place. The Disciple-Maker’s Launchpad is on-demand so you can set that pace that works for you. And importantly, you have lifetime access to the content, so you can go back and review what you need to, as you need to.
Group Coaching.
One thing we knew we needed from watching our own team get started in the field was an opportunity to debrief new skills after practicing them, learn from each other, and ask questions when they get stuck. We’ve included 3 group coaching sessions with your lifetime access, but additional sessions will be available for a nominal fee.
Training Overview:
- Foundations for healthy evangelismpresents key principles for meeting people where they are while maintaining a bold gospel witness.
- The practice of making spiritual statements is a first step that practically anyone can do. Identifying relational inroads identifies potential opportunities for connecting with new people.
- Many Christians have insulated themselves from unbelievers, so this training simply shares a number of ideas for entering into social settings where you might initiate spiritual conversations.
- Launchpad also brings the concept of gospel storying into everyday conversations, and it offers input for issues such as: What happens when we don’t know the answer to a question? Or what about missed opportunities?
- Training on starting a new discovery group is rooted in the lived experience of the GCMI team in American cities and beyond.
- Finally, Launchpad aims to help disciple makers adopt a multiplication mindset by offering practical tips for reproducing our ministry beyond ourselves.
Getting Started
Getting registered for the Disciple-Maker’s Launchpad is easy. For $65 you get lifetime access to the trainings and 3 group coaching sessions. Still in school? Our student price is just $35 for the same lifetime access. The lessons will guide you through easy to practice skills that will help you better reach out to your community and the people God is placing in your life. Coaching will help answer questions and reinforce the practices you’ve experienced so far.
The Real Learning is the Practice
Before you dive in, we just want to remind you that this is called Launchpad for a reason. The skills and trainings presented are the same skills and trainings that power our ministry cross-culturally around the country with global impact. But there’s no silver bullet here. The real learning comes from practice. Everyone learns at their own pace. Some will be off to the races and some will see incremental improvements over time as they work their way through… but you have to launch. Sitting on the launchpad won’t get you there.
