God has called you to participate in God’s mission. That looks a little different for each of us. If you are seeking to serve as a cross-cultural missionary, joining the Global City Mission team, might be your next step. There are a lot of traditional notions about what it means to be a missionary. Perhaps you think of a guy living out in a mud hut in a remote village somewhere? But what about someone reaching Bengali Muslims in New York City, Hindu Indians in Atlanta, or the artist community in Orlando, Florida? Global City Mission is mobilizing missionaries in global cities, and you can become a missionary to the nations right here in North America. Serving with Global City Mission, you will pursue cross-cultural outreach, disciple-making, and develping organic communities of discipleship. By serving in global cities you can connect with people from around the world living & working in the city.
Global Cities are strategic mission fields for unleashing the Gospel. As a result, your role as a missionary catalyst will be to make disciples who can form discipleship communities anywhere they go. Our shared vision is to see disciple-making initiatives in strategic global cities around the world, and we’re starting that work here in North America.
