Dawn is a native of Georgia who transplanted to Jacksonville, Florida in 2013. She and her husband Brook, pastor of All Souls Anglican Church in Jacksonville, have been married and serving in ministry together for over 28 years.
In 2010, an African Anglican Bishop visited her home church and Dawn leaned over to her husband Brook and said “I would go to Africa.” A year later, they were in Kenya for her first mission trip. She has since been on several short-term trips.
Her passion for the Lord and her draw to missions, led her to taking the Perspectives course in 2021.
(Perspectives is a 15-week introduction to missions course offered through local churches throughout the United States.) This then led her to be the driving force on hosting a class, as the course facilitator, at her own church in 2023. It was during this class that Dawn began to sense the urgency to pray for her “next step” in mission to the world. She met Jared Looney, who was one of the instructors for the class during this time, and they started a conversation on the need for a Director of Operations for Global City Mission.
As the wife of a pastor, she is familiar with the ins and outs of ministry and the sometimes-overwhelming need for administrative help in a thoughtful, compassionate manner.
Dawn and Brook have 3 adult daughters and 1 son-in-law, with another son-in-law joining the family in February, 2024.
