Born in Chapel Hill NC and raised in Oak Ridge TN, Dave attended the University of Michigan on an ROTC scholarship, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. While stationed with the U.S. Army at Ft. Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis, Dave came to faith in Christ & was baptized at East 91st Street Christian Church. Feeling God’s call to full time ministry, he began seminary at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Illinois the same month he finished his 4-year Army obligation. In the years since receiving his Master of Divinity, Dave has served with several churches & ministries in outreach, missions, church planting, church leadership & church development. Dave has had the privilege of serving with his home church, East 91st Christian Church, three times and with the church he helped plant, Crossway Christian Church twice. In March of 2016, Dave returned to Crossway to help plant a campus in the downtown part of Nashua NH.

Early in 2021, Dave began sensing God’s call to work more directly with internationals, particularly those from unreached people groups. After a season of prayer, fasting, and discernment, Dave accepted the call to work with Global City Mission Initiative in the Phoenix area. He is excited to join the team there and looks forward to what God will do as He brings people from around the world to Himself. Dave has been married to his wife Nancy for almost 40 years. They have three children and a granddaughter. God tells us in Acts 17:26-27, that He made the nations and established their appointed times and the boundaries of their lands, that they might reach out and find Him. Dave and Nancy are excited to help people from the nations, coming to Phoenix, find Jesus.
