Born in Massachusetts as a first-generation American, Emily loves diverse cultures almost as much as she loves people! She’s been lucky enough to have spent most of her life living among diverse people groups. Being raised in the Catholic faith, Emily came to know Jesus from a young age. She always knew there was more to a relationship with God, and so when she met her husband, Clint, in 2010, she was excited to explore her faith in the Protestant church with an open heart and an open line to communicating with Jesus.
Emily believed her calling to be event management, and she received her Masters of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida. However, God had different plans! She and Clint spent the last six years living in Europe with Clint’s job and on a major work project in California. They traveled the world together and spent time growing in their faith. In that time, God really placed on Emily’s heart the passion to help bring people to Christ and help those who know Christ dive deeper into their faith. She now knows her calling is to help others shine the light of Jesus into the world, and working with GCMI in Mobilization is an exciting step in her journey to help build the Kingdom.
In her free time, Emily has been leading worship for the last ten years – it’s one of the greatest passions of her life. She also is a huge proponent of volunteerism in local communities and spends time at her local food bank and working with her church’s youth group to help Generation Z experience the joy in helping others see Jesus in this world.
